Housing Loan Repayment Burden
Housing loan repayment represents the total service burden of households for mortgages repayments as a percentage of total household disposable income. The burden is composed of the scheduled principal repayment (to payoff the original principal amount borrowed), the interest on outstanding balances and an optional extra repayment which can be paid to payoff the loan earlier.

Home Lending as a Percent of State Final Demand
Home loans outstanding as a percent of state final demand shows the amount of the home loan debt outstanding scaled by state economic size which reflects the average indebtedness of households in each state.
New Home Investment Leverage
New dwelling investment and lending for housing construction as a proportion of total state dwelling investment shows the proportion of dwelling investment that is funded by new debt -- a macroeconomic loan leverage estimate.
